Slack data extraction tool for Kobe research candidates.

1. Download

Current version is only released for macOS (Apple Silicon / M1, M2, M3 chips).

First-time Launch: Because this is an internal tool, macOS may block the execution. To open it, Right-click the app icon and select Open.

2. Configuration

To initialize the exporter, you need your workspace subdomain and a specific session cookie.

How to find your "d" cookie in Google Chrome:

  1. Log in to your Slack workspace in Chrome.
  2. Open DevTools (Press Cmd + Opt + I or Right-click and select Inspect).
  3. Select the Application tab at the top (click ยป if it's hidden).
  4. In the left menu, expand Cookies and select https://slack.com.
  5. Find the row where the Name is exactly d.
  6. Double-click the Value, copy the string, and paste it into the SlackExporter GUI.

Subdomain: Use the name from your Slack URL (e.g., my-org if your URL is my-org.slack.com).

Security Notice: The "d" cookie is your personal session token. Do not share it with anyone outside the Kobe research team.
